When we arrived in Hoover, Al which is about 15 minutes south of Birmingham, this is what we saw. A small version of the Statue of Liberty. We were shocked to see this in Alabama of all places but it was nice for the kids to be able to see a small version of it. I wish we had taken more pictures of Alabama cause it sure is a beautiful place. It's a lot like Georgia, lots of trees but Alabama has lots of beautiful hills.

That's funny. There's also another small version of the Statue of Liberty on top of a building on Broadway in NYC! I wonder how many of them there are around the country?
