Doctors Appointment

I have to share something funny and cute that happened at the eye doctors today. Connor has had some problems with his eyes since he was 1 1/2. He had eye muscle surgery on both eyes when he was two and has been wearing a patch on off since then. Well they finally decided to move on to glasses to see if it would improve his vision, since Connor does not like to wear his patch. I seriously would have to hold him down to put his patch on and let me tell you, he is one strong kid. Anyway Connor needed to go for his check up and everything is going good and he is improving little by little. While the doctor was having Connor read the letters back to her, Parker started looking at the letters and all of a sudden he says out loud "P". I was cracking up! Connor was having a hard time seeing the letters and his sweet little 3 year old brother was just trying to help him out. Well after that happened I had to remind Parker to not call out any more letters, at times I would have to cover his mouth, but I have to say that I'm so proud of him for knowing his letters and for realizing that he really is paying attention when I try to teach him. The joy of children and their sweet little spirits.
