Fun Run

Here is our annual fun run at the school. The kids get to ask for donations and for every lap they run they get $1, $2, $5 or as much as that person wants to donate. Well I am not a fan of asking people to donate money and sometimes get annoyed when people come to my door, but I am nice to them. =) Connor wanted to go door to door, but I don't do that so I told him that he was not allowed to go door to door unless he was with an adult and of course the only adult available would be Daddy, but Daddy is so busy and comes home late that that was not possible and then Connor eventually forgot about it. Spencer did go door to door and I couldn't believe it when he came home with $65 in just one day. That kid is such a good little salesman. He eventually raised around $100 in total. Way to go Spencer!!! The run was yesterday and it was fun to watch them, but oh boy it was so COLD!! Connor ran a total of 35 laps and Spencer ran a total of 55 Laps.
Here's Connor running as fast as he could go. He amazed me how well he did, cause last year I think he did a total of maybe 20 laps.
Lots and lots of drink breaks.
Olivia was so bundled up that she could not move. Sorry sweetie, but had to keep you warm.
Parker and Connor
So bundled up that she just fell asleep.
Andrew and Connor after the run.
Oh thank goodness for lunch. We got to go inside the building and warm up before we had to go back outside for Spencer's run.
Would you like an ice cream?? Cute!!
This was so funny!! He put a cone on top of her head and she had no idea it was there.
Go Spencer!!!
Spencer was so fast at running that I had such a hard time finding him. It took me forever to locate him, but when I did find him, he sure was taking a lot of drink breaks. I guess you need a lot of drink breaks when you are doing 55 laps!
Preston and Spencer after the race
Good friends. So proud of everyone for doing an amazing job.

How fun! I like Spencer's stride--what a runner! They did good! I want to know how much per lap you pledged :) Our first fun run, I pledged a couple of bucks per lap. After that, down to a dime.

I didn't pledge a thing!! =) I feel like I put enough of my money into that school. I didn't know you could go that far down to a dime, I should of done that. Oh well maybe next time or not. ;)
